Current projects:
Clay County Water has submitted a construction application to USDA Rural Development (RD) to fund the construction of the Phase II project which includes the following townships; S.E. Songer, North Harter, and most of Stanford.
RD will go over the application along with several other entities applications and score them based on who needs the funding the most. We hope that our project is a viable one and that RD will agree with us and fund it.
As this process develops and we get closer to loan closing, tap fees will increase over what they are now. The cost to sign up now is a $50.00 deposit and then when the project is funded you will be asked to pay the remaining $250.00 for a total of a $300.00 tap fee.
