Clay Electric Cooperative, Inc has been committed to providing our member-owners with safe, adequate and and reliable electric service, superior customer service and innovative energy solutions, all at reasonable prices.
The not-for-profit cooperative energized its first lines on September 9th of 1944 to serve 41 member/owners on 39 miles of line. Today we provide electric service to residents in the rural areas of Clay, Effingham, Fayette, Jasper, Marion, Richland and Wayne counties.
